This 19th century building know as “Mill Street Barracks” has plenty of spooky goings on and was used during both world wars as RAF barracks. The Cellars always hold a foreboding atmosphere and in the Barracks it is the scene of much paranormal activity! Built in 1861 Mill St Barracks is steeped in history and has accomodated many branches of the armed forces through numerous wars. In 1890 it is listed as the Head quarters of the 2nd Volunteer South Lancashire Regiment. A Ghostly Event not to be MISSED. Are you brave enough? Inc hot/cold refreshments.
Join us as we delve into the dark and haunted history of this ancient building as we attempt to communicate and uncover the spirits that walk the old theatre. The Lancaster Grand Theatre is the third oldest operating theatre in England. Originally built in 1782 during the reign of George III and has been a major part of the social and cultural life since that time past performers include Charles Dickens & Edmund Kean. The theatre was rebuilt in 1908 after a fire gutted the interior. However it also has a reputation for being extremely haunted. In the last 6 months this has intensified to the extent that the night manager refuses to enter the building on his own. Dark shadows seen gliding pass the stage, followed by an overwhelming feeling of being watched. Dare to join us?
