The report that will follow combines both teams reports of the night room by room.

THE CELLAR…..
Emma in the blue group felt a coldness down her left side whilst sat in the cellar, and also found that the dowsing rods moved slightly and had some resistence. There was also tapping or a clicking sound heard from the corner by both teams. The glass moved but only very slightly and a lady heard knocking from the other end of the cellar which was locked off to us. The name James/Andrew was picked up down there and a soldier stood at the entrance to the old tunnel area by Michelle wearing a medal seamed round helmet. The red group picked up on a green light down there in the cellar and lots of small taps and clicks in the same corner as the blue group. One other thing that was noted was that every time we called out in the cellars the leaves battered against the outside door. It may have been just coincidence but it happened with both groups. As soon as we left the Cellar the wind stilled. There was also some sharp temperature drops in this room.

THE BLUE ROOM/TOP CORRIDOR……
The top corridor leading to the bedrooms was eerie and Hazel in blue team got very emotional after Michelle picked up on a little boy around 14-15 who lived in the hall at some time around the late 1800s, he was slightly mischievous and had mental issues and that he had fallen to his death at the hall from the roof area or stairs. He was not allowed to mingle with the other members of the family or visitors because of his affliction and had scarring or disfiguration to his face. Hazel was very upset and tearful and felt like he was in front of her wanting some kind of comfort which he never received whilst alive, the name of this young boy was William (but was known better as Billy). There was also a loud sigh heard by two members of the team with no logical explanation.

In the blue room the name Katherine Aldridge was picked up by Michelle and also an Emily Radcliffe. The red group felt cold drafts moving round the room and small low tappings were heard. A little girl was picked up in the room with a little boy at the ages around 6-7 and 9-10 but wasn’t sure which age applied to which, the names James and Jenny applied to them both. The was also the name Wilson picked up on from around the 1800s. Joe on the red team had cold legs every time the boy and girl were detected in the room. Later the red team picked up on the name Wilson again and a more accurate year 1820s and he wasn’t happy for some reason and his wife was called Elizabeth. The corridor was interesting with Louise getting the name Peter and a dog and also the name Wilson again. The names Jenny and James were also picked up on again in the corridor. Emma got a feeling that the little girl had blonde ringlets in her hair and was around the age of 9 yrs old. In the blue room again the blue team got the name Wilson on the glass and that he lived there, he was an adult with red/auburn hair and around the 1800s-1820s. He was married to an Elizabeth and also the name William was picked up on again (Billy). The name Emily again popped up and she was a relative of the family living there at the time. Eight spirits in total were in the room at the time as blue group. In one of the top bedroom areas team member Kirsty was poked in the side as if by a child, the room was very cold at the time and the temperature kept fluctuating. The chandelier in the room appeared to be moving at one point also.

THE MAIN HALL…..
In the main hall both groups came together and we did a séance together and glass divination with the white noise cd playing in the background. Members of the group said they could hear children playing and music sounding similar to fairground/fete music. The group placed a cat ball in the middle of the floor and tried to get the children to move it because Michelle and Dee both picked up on children playing round our feet. Dee and Michelle both said they were various ages from toddler to around 6-7Also Hazel felt the presence of "Billy" behind her again and was overwhelmed with emotion again to the point where she had to leave the room. We got a knock at the front door earlier in the night whilst in the main hall, when we looked out seconds after it happening there was nobody there, this happened earlier in the week when the team were holding a private investigation. There was also temperature fluctuations.

THE HUB CAMERAS (in the entrance area)….
During the night lots were picked up on the cameras plenty of very strange orbs with trails to them. In the main hall during the séance the cameras picked up a mass of orbs looking similar to snow fall and ones that were travelling round the floor around our feet. This was at the point when the group were singing to raise the vibrations of the room. On the top corridor lots of orbs were seen coming out of the rooms and down the corridor towards the camera placed there. Flashing lights were also seen in the main hall area (small but bright).

Ok guys, thank you all for a very enjoyable night and the history and research will follow further down the page. We hope to see you all soon
